I’m the co-creator, co-host, executive producer, story editor and scriptwriter for the F1: Back at Base series. I’m also the co-host and story editor of the Sport’s Strangest Crimes: Spygate series, both for the BBC.

 

F1: Back at Base has more than a million global listeners. The series follows life inside Formula 1’s top-secret team factories at crucial points during the season. In Series 1 we were embedded with Mercedes and Williams and for Series 2 we followed Aston Martin and McLaren, during their 2024 Championship-winning season.

 

F1: Back at Base has been recognised with awards at the International Women’s Podcast Awards and the British Podcast Awards in 2024.

 

What I love about the podcast is how it takes listeners straight to the heart of these famous F1 teams. Where TV cameras can’t go, our microphones can! From my side, I love the challenge of bringing together all the moving parts – the interviews, the story, the script – to create our own well-oiled podcast machine.
