Happy New Year!! I spent my festive period back up in Yorkshire with my family and friends. The snow was a day late for a white Christmas but we certainly had a good blanket of it from boxing day through to new year. In previous years I have rushed back to Loughborough post-Christmas to […]
Welcome to my website where you can follow me on my journey to the Rio De Janeiro Olympic Games 2016. The next Olympic cycle also includes some exciting championships including 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and also the 2015 World Championships in Beijing. I will be posting monthly blogs and also photos and videos of me in training that will allow you to keep up to date with my progress.
From a very young age I have aspired to put myself amongst the most elite athletes in the world and call myself an Olympian. I am blessed to have the opportunity to spend my days bettering myself in a sport that I love. I am a self-funded athlete and in amongst training I maintain a part time job. With the high demands of the sport, this balancing act is both challenging and strenuous.
My website will hopefully give to me the opportunity to build some mutually beneficial sponsorship partnerships; whereby companies can gain exposure through their dedication to my success.
Athletics has been a big part of my life and whilst I am striving for success on the world stage I would also like to be able to provide guidance to younger athletes or keen sports people. This may include specific technical advice, general questions or further insights into my training. If you have any questions I am more than happy to help, just click on ‘contact Sarah’ and I will get back to you.
